I've seen lists of groups of animals before and I'm always amazed at some of the names for those groups. I never knew rattlesnakes knew how to rhumba! I can understand the romp of otters though! Anyone who's ever seen their playful antics would get it! And a congress of baboons....yup, our congress is made up of a lot of baboons! Oops...this is about animals, not politics. lol
Loved reading this post! Fun and informative

Oh it's been a while ; had to have been when the kids were tiny. We had a blast and an absolutely wonderful day.

Encountered a 'shit-load' of cars and 'bunch' traffic on the way home. 😶

When did you last go to the zoo? And what zoo did you visit? - I'm due a visit to Newquay zoo.
What are your favourite zoo animals? - The baboons, for their bare arsed cheek!

I agree , I think animals should stay in the surrounds , BUT, if you got an animal that comes to the main land and hurt innocent people, that his ass to the Zoo! You take him back to the wild, he'll work his way back

Have not been too the zoo since my daughter was little. It was hot and way too many people but we all slept good that night. Had a great day. I see a groundhog today on my way home from the pool.

The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

Its been about 6 years for me....a small local zoo....and i went in late october when they were preparing to close for the winter. The owner....mr Lupa ( Lupa Zoo) was on his small tractor cleaning things and had time to talk and give a personal tour as not many visitors were there. Was a nice time to go....with the cool crisp air. A few things that stood out...a cross between a zebra and a ??..i dunno what it was but it wasnt suppose to have stripes but it did. Then a species of baby chimps, monkeys, orangutans looked at me with the perfect face of a human infant...that was unnerving. The bears were frolicking and almost mating.......and the piece de resitance....a giraffe....in new england. I always assumed that they shipped the animals to a warmer climate for the winter. Mr Lupa said...noooooo....he has a huge heated barn with a heated floor....and they remain there for the winter. Mr Lupa has since passed away and his family has carried on. I loved my trip to the zoo on that October day. Nice post....thank you ~

What a great read about the zoo, so many different animals to visit, feed and enjoy. The last time I went to a zoo was with one of my daughters classes as a Chaperone on their field trip. That was many many years ago, my favorite animals to see at the zoo are the Monkeys as they are just so funny, and they love throwing things at people.

I hope you both are enjoying a great weekend..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I hesitated to click on this title, buried as it was between "Hot for Anal" and "Kinky Coeds" but I'm glad I did.

The last zoo I went to was in San Diego, a few years ago, with a fellow blogger too!!! Honestly, I like to watch the hippos swim. The way they go from lumbering tanks to smooth moving submarines is so fascinating!

When did you last go to the zoo? And what zoo did you visit? Wow, 25 years ago? When my kids were so young. It was the Philadelphia PA zoo.

What are your favourite zoo animals? I am not certain, I think they are several, The various bears, and the lions

What a great story, I a afraid I may have leaned some things

1. I live pretty close to a zoo, it was on my daily walk route during lockdown, a bit bizarre to see kangaroos and zebras, and hear lions roar when you're out for a walk in Edinburgh! But I'm not a fan of zoos......my abiding memory is the smell of shit and the thought that the animals are being forced to live in their own badly cleaned toilets.
2. I don't have a favourite, I much prefer animals in their natural wild habitat.
