What idiot thought this new Hotlist page was a good idea?

They continue to screw up the site, and make it harder and harder to use things like points. Most recently, I noticed that they ruined the hotlist.

I look on my home page it says quite explicitly, 73 in my hot list; but I try and add someone to my hotlist in order to become a top fan, I suddenly am bombarded with "You've reached your current max for your hotlist. Upgrade to gold to have a max of 1000 on your hotlist when your current max is 200. Also you should remove inactive members from your hotlist." There is even a blue button that says 'Remove Inactive members from hotlist', but pushing it does nothing, not a single person removed from the hotlist.

I'll just go and actually look at my hotlist, I think, and see what's up. At the top of the page it, again, says 73 in hotlist. I disregard that, and I go thru the crap-fest that is the current version of the Hotlist, scrolling through, but I reach the bottom of the page way too soon for it to be all 200 or even the measly 73 at the top of the page. I cannot see more than 50 spots on my hotlist at a time, and there is no way to go to the next set of 50 (or 23) in this list either.

I look back at the top and there is this utterly stupid ['New' (Added in Last 30 Days/90 Days)]/['Old' (Added in Last year/Older years)] pair of drop down menus beside each other and then the sort by (Date Hotlisted/Distance/Last Visit/Username) one off to the side. Currently, it is on New-90 days. I click on the older results and choose the Old-Older years option, that should show everything right? No, at the top of the page it now says 112 where 73 once was; and I find if I choose Last year it changes to 94. None of which allows me to see past the 50 person mark. Changing how they are sorted doesn't really help either because there is no way to invert the search.

Ok, well I'll just go and remove the ones I can figure out or think are inactive myself, right? Nope!
I decide to remove all of the profiles with an rm_ at the front. As I click the remove button on them they disappear from the page, looks good so far. Once I reach the bottom of the page, I scroll back up and change how I am sorting it so it will show a different set of and I start down the list again, and I notice one that I thought I had already removed, just before I resorted the list. I change back to the original sort method and lo and behold all the rm_ usernames I had previously removed are right back in the hotlist.

So now it is impossible for me to remove anyone from my hotlist which means it is impossible for me to add anyone new to my hotlist, which in turn means that I cannot become the top fan of anyone new; which is the main way that I would spend my points. So there is no reason at all now for me to spend money here again.

Now, honestly, why would anyone have thought it was a good idea to change something as basic as a Hotlist into this convoluted pile of junk that currently exists. This godawful heaping pile of shit needs to be removed and the old simple hotlist needs to be returned. The only things needed on it are two dropdown menus for sort by [(Date Hotlisted/Distance/Last Visit/Username) & (Ascending/Descending)] and a way to reach the different pages. There is absolutely no need to have this new/old crap; just list all of the people on the hotlist.

If you want to add an advanced hotlist filter, fine. But, dammit, do it completely separate from the actual Hotlist.

Well, Fuck Mates has finally made it such that they will never again be getting my money. I am sure that most of you have seen the following message:

" Fuck Mates

To improve the Gold Membership experience, reading and replying to messages are now limited to upgraded accounts. Upgrade to Gold and get full contact access including unlimited messaging, flirts, chat, and live webcams.
Icebreaker messages can still be read by both Gold and Standard members. "

Fuck Mates was one of the few places that it was actually worth joining or at the very least spending money to send messages and try and talk to people. As it is now they are no better than all the other crappy sites out there expecting you to waste money just to read and reply to messages sent to you.

Fuck Mates was great because I knew that if I either paid to have an account or paid to send a message that I knew that whoever that message was to would be able to read and reply to it. Now, I know that the majority of the people I would message will not even get to read my message.

I think what's the worst part is that Fuck Mates is actually trying to play this off as if it is going to improve the Gold Membership experience, when in fact it is going to do the exact opposite. If I am going to pay the subscription rates for this site or purchase points specifically to message people, then I expect every single person that I message to be able to read and reply back to me regardless of my or their subscription status. How is limiting who can reply to my messages improving my experience?

Fuck Mates, you are using that word, but I do not think it means what you think it means.

For like the last 5 months I keep getting flirts from some people I don't want to get them from. I've complained about it to the people that run the site, and they told me stuff that had nothing to do with what I complained about and gave no further feedback after I replied to their laughable handling of the situation. I am just sick of every other flirt listing the same thing. I want it to stop, if anything I should have the ability to block flirts like this as well as emails for that matter from even being able to be sent to me.

So dear "Member's profile is either turned off or inactive." leave me alone.

After all why the &*(&*)(&*)( are you sending me a FLIRT if you're profile is turned off or inactive and as such impossibly for me to view? How stupid do you have to be to do that? I cannot see who's sent them or view the profile, so why the fuck would you send it?

And why they hell can't I see their profile, who the &*(&*()& cares if they turned it off or it's inactive the &*(&(*)& person sent me a flirt or email so I should be able to see who sent it. At the very least it should list the info in the flirt/email list in the from area. I mean people can Remove their profile and that will still show up in the who area, but just when I click on the link to view the profile I'll get "Sorry, this member has removed his/her profile." At least I can still see who it was from even if I can't actually see the profile or reply to it.
